FLASH MOVIE?!

So supposedly there is going to be a "The Flash" movie in 2016.....WELL SPEED IT UP I WANT IT NOW OwO ♥ But seriously folks, I adore Flash. (Wally and Barry alike) Super speedy, they can vibrate threw anything (Imagine the pick up lines "Hey, I vibrate") and they are BAD ASS! I really hope this is a good movie.~

MAN OF STEEL

So just from the commercials "Man Of Steel" looks fantastic, I can feel it in my bones, this movie is bound to be good. In case you haven't seen the recent Man of Steel trailer, here it is.  It doesn't even have to be great it just has to get Superman right for me and I'm good and nerdy. I want to love this movie, I really do and I hope I'm able to. And please oh god of nerdiness *cough* (the doctor) please let this be as freaking amazing as it can be, it comes out on my birthday XD (but seriously, where does Clark Kent get the material for that suit O.o)

COSPLAY: The Tardis from Doctor Who

 COSPLAY" The TARDIS from Doctor Who

Ok so Im going to finally show my face to the world and share my main cosplay. The TARDIS.
I am in the process of completely (not really) remodeling it so it fits better and so it has two (or three) forms, Street Tardis and Victorian Tardis (also possibly mage tardis) . It is not in fact a dress but a vest and a skirt so for each cosplay these are the options

Street Tardis

blue wig
eyepatch
black gloves
"Chain" belt (which has been added on to majorly)
Tardis blue pants
either a black tank top, long sleeve, or if i can get a blue bustier sort of shirt
black buckle boots
the fedora
I am trying to use what little cloth i have left over to create two cross over pouchesone pouch with the pull to open sign and the other with the st. johns hospital symbol
prop: either a nerf gun that i steampunk and "tardis", the sonic screwdriver i made (in photo), or the staff i am currently working on

Sci-fi and Fantasy Superstar weekend

So I go off to a Engineering competition, annoyed that I cant go to a convention that will be two minutes away from the hotel the competitions at. Etc... etc... so one competition is photography so of course I run around taking photos for the on site aspect of it. On day two Im wandering around photospamming chairs when I see some familiar faces eating dinner in the hotel.... OH HOLY ZELDA COWS THE MEGACON GUESTS ARE AT MY HOTEL!!!! There ordering food is half the star trek next generation cast. I go up to them and address "Data"

Me: "are you who I think you are"
Data: "well were not footballers and that camera best not be for our faces"
Me: "actually no Im taking pictures of chairs for a competition"
Geordi La Forge: "Yeah righhhhtt"
Me: "No really" *shows them photos*

and thats how i spent ten minutes talking to some of my scifi heros XD

THENNNNNN the next day
Wandering around taking pictures of chairs and I think "Oh i can take a few pictures in the hotel gym!"
So I go to the gym and start photospamming a weight chair when i notice somone in my photos.... OH MY GIDDY GOD THATS OLIVER/or/ JAMES PHELPS! (the weasley twins from harry potter)
So of course I die and continue photospamming and at the end as he leaves randomly hug him. Creeper status: FANGIRL
But still my fellow fankids, dont deny that you would do the same if not more.
Oh and then on the way to breakfast Data said hi to me (HE REMEMBERED MEEEE!)
and that night I ran into Will Weaton (Westley Crusher-Star trek, himself- Big bang theory) when he commented on my "I had friends on that death star" shirt. I got a hug...from Will Weaton.... If anyone asks I lost my virginity to Will Weaton.
So to sum up my Fantastically Nerdy weekend of amazingness that I never dreamed could happen OH MY GOD IM DIEING! X3

NEW MOVIE: Oz The Great and Powerful

I just saw this (preview showings etc.. etc...) and all I can say is Absolutley Bloody Brilliant. Actually I can say alot more and here it is. Without spoiling the plot, The monkey is adorbale the china girl is the most attitude filled kid i have ever adored. The flying baboons were a intresting twists and speaking of twists... OH MY GOD I WONT SPOIL IT BUT EHRMEHGHERD!!!  The CGI and sets are gourgeous, the costumes are as fantastic if not way better then the originals, the movie itself has the same feeling as the original movie and when you watch it youll catch every lttle reference and smirk at the screen and be all *I see what you did there*. One very harry potter like seen which I was ecstatic about and See it in 3D trust me. You will be happy you did. One cannot simply watch such fantasy in 2D.

Cosplay!!: Chandra Nalaar, Magic:The gathering

COSPLAY-   CHANDRA NALAAR, MAGIC: THE GATHERING

Helloooo dorks and dorkettes! So anyone out there play Magic: The gathering? Because my next venture in the land of cosplay is Chandra Nalaar- the firey tembpered, armour clad, all around badass.
Now theres only a few other people out on the interweb that ive seen do a chandra cosplay examples:

 This one is the most similar to my plans.

Fabulousity, obviously since theyre in Russia.

 Just plain Badass, loving it.

 My favorite picture, and i believe is the same person as the first picture.

 

So then this is my rough sketch for the costume:

Armor- Aluminum plating?

Chainmail- Poptabs from sodacans, I found a amazing instructable that turned out to be the most badass chainmail ever.

The belt, top, gloves, and leg base armor (not shown) will be red faux leather and aluminum plating, possibly.

The goggles will most likely end up being red lenses and a leather strap, still figuring out how to make the frame.

Of course the wig is supposed to be flame like so ill either use a flyaway redish orange wig or a long flame red wig.

Either way this will be AMAZING! (and a ton of effort, woohoo!)
