REVIEW Ranmao Cosplay- ManyCosplay

Pre note: I am completely blunt on my opinions, if you are expecting a biased, improper use of grammar filled, or untruthful review you came to the wrong place partner.

So I decided I wanted to start reviewing cosplays so I contacted ManyCosplay about one. The sizes I gave them were for my older sister LeahGlitterpuke and so they looked through what they had in stock and found me a Ranmao (Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji) cosplay that they decided should fit. Now keep in mind the character looks like this. (left) and the cosplay ended up looking like this on a larger person then it was intended for.(right) Notice how the dress is the wrong color, as are the butterflies which are also placed incorrectly (no, I did NOT get to see what the costumes would look like before it came, I only saw what the character looked like from searching). Had this costume at least fit I would have bought or made the wig and props but since it did not I added my own for the sake of this review.
                                                                                         (Model: Anonymous)

The cosplay included the jacket, belt, dress, and hair clip. But when it came the only thing that fit was the hair clip. So the pictures below (and the one above) feature my anonymous cousin (whom is larger but it is still quite big on her waist, the jacket fits fairly well on her since we all have broad shoulders). The first thing I noticed upon opening the costume was that the Butterflies on the dress were made of cheap iron on faux leather and were falling off.

The flower was shabbily hot glued to the clip.

The belt is completely wrong in all the ways and was huggggggeeee. Seriously.

The button/loop part along the collar was hard to close because the loops weren't big enough.

The entire dress was edged with the same tacky fake leatherette that was used for the belt.

The one thing I did like was the Jacket which was beautifully made, richly colored, and although it only had two golden wrist stripes instead of the actual three I wish it would have fit me.

Front view of whole costume (with my own purple wig as seen in the Taobaopit Lolita purple wig review and added flower bouquet accessory made for another costume)

and a back view.

and a close up of the top without the flowers.

So quite frankly I would not suggest this company to anyone as far as cosplays go. Even with the given sizes it was completely wrong and it was only mediocre quality in general.
Their website is http://www.ManyCosplay.com

End note: Although this costume was sent free of charge I was still blunt about my opinions. I have a no bias, no extra favor policy so everything I write will be completely honest as far as my opinion goes. Thank you.

IT'S REVIEW TIME: Purple Lolita wig Taobaopit

So for Hanukah I treated myself to two new wigs, in this issue of Kat's random wigs I bought the Taobaopit 26" Wavy Mixed Gradient Purple Flat Bang Lolita Costume Cosplay Wig. First the good things: The wig is super soft and easy to detangle, it looks realistic and falls beautifully. I ordered it off of amazon and it came speedy and well packaged, complete with a wig cap.
The bad things: The wig is to small for all of my hair (more of a personal thing) and more importantly It looks NOTHING like the picture says or the one my friend bought from the very same people and item. Hers looked like this (me wearing it)
Where as mine looked like this (My sister LeahGlitterpuke wearing it)
So if you want a wig that's an average color and length but don't care if its not exactly what you see (at all) but will be fairly cheap (I paid about 13 dollars) and is of fantastic quality then look up Taobaopit on Amazon.com. Perfect for fun if you enjoy wearing wigs or are a Lolita guru. I love the company but they aren't exactly consistent look wise but quality is always fabulous.

Cosplay idears- Pokemon Ivysaur

So I bought a dark green and black wig (mainly green) and I began wondering "What on earth can I use this to cosplay?" so I turned to the source of all great random cosplay ideas. My handy dandy pokedex (aka Bulbapedia). So this here is my latest idea! Meet Ivysaur, the kawaii as fuck Pokémon.

Cosplay idears- Pokemon Charmander and Fennekin

So a friend of mine requested I sketch out fire starter cosplay ideas for her and her boyfriend and well....this is how it turned out.
(left Charmander. Right Fennekin.)

Tardis cosplay update!~

So I recently attended the West palm Beach Chibi-Pa convention and watched the Doctor Who 50th anniversary episode there in full cosplay with some friends (as pictured below). That meant UPDATE THE TARDIS TIME (honestly, it will never be satisfactory to me). So I re did the staff (now featuring working, on time, clocks and new batteries in the light) and resized a lot. It still makes me look like a giant but it was fun! Below are my lovely 11, 10, and Donna cosplay friends. T'was a blast.
                                                         and then there's this picture....
